I don't know where I should start.. can't believe that I have been here already 8 months... time flies so fast! So.. I live in Kingsland, Auckland and I have found really cool flatmates - but our house is something else.. It's been a really rainy winter and beginning of spring,without double windows and with shitty construction our house is moldy as. Almost all of the houses in Auckland are 'damp', people are struggling with the same kind of issues because they haven't built their houses properly.. Everybody is getting sick and the rent is way too high I think. Auckland is a really expensive city to live in but unfortunately most of the jobs are here.
It's a shame that I haven't been able to see south island yet! Time to do some work and save up money! North Island, it's a bit more familiar by now - Kaitaia, Paihia/Bay of islands, Auckland, Taupo and the latest one, Waiheke island.
I have seen so many different beaches around here and all the actual nature is amazing!! If you're planning to do some traveling in New Zealand I highly recommend you to go and see what's going on outside of the cities.
